Beth Thomas is a licenced property professional and who founded Alumuna Property. She is highly motivated to assist her clients through multiple aspects of their property journey whether it be as tenants who then buy, investors who then sell or investors buying their family home. Beth believes that providing exceptional communication, market knowledge, legislative knowledge, strategic thinking, and negotiation expertise are the bare minimum that should be provided by any property agent when selling or managing a property. Having noted her own personal experiences as a buyer, seller, investor and tenant, she understands how stressful navigating these property transactions can be and the responsibility a property agent has to its’ clients.
Originally from Bathurst in NSW, Beth has broad experience and has worked in property since starting as an agency receptionist when she finished high school in 2009. Since then, she has worked across multiple industry roles including in administration, property management, agency operations management and as a residential sales agent. Other roles that have added to Beth’s overall property knowledge include working at a large-scale property firm in Canberra as a Commercial Leasing Executive, working at the Valuer General of NSW and briefly working for an Environment and Property Lawyer.
Beth’s experience has seen her work in NSW, the ACT and Queensland which has exposed her to a range of different markets. As a result of this exposure, nothing stress’s Beth in terms of market conditions and her philosophy is to know and follow the data in combination with being aware of the micro-economic factors relevant to each market.
To add to her industry experience Beth is a big believer in education and ongoing development. She has completed a Certificate IV in Property Services, Diploma of Property Services (Agency Management), SOA in Project Management Practice and is currently undertaking a Bachelor of Property Economics / Bachelor of Laws at Queensland University of Technology.
In her free time, Beth can be found somewhere in nature keeping active whether it be running, cycling, mountain biking, camping or at the dog park with her cocker spaniel Millie.
